Alora: an online store for a luxury hoodie brand.
Alora makes one considered piece: a heavyweight women's hoodie with a silk-lined hood that's gentle on hair. It's a brand we own and run. We built its store at alora10.com to feel as quiet as the product, load fast on a phone, and take real payments, with everything the team needs to fill orders behind it.

The brief
Alora started as a single page with a waitlist. It needed to become a real store: one product available now (the hoodie in Sky), four more colors on the way, and shoppers who mostly arrive on their phones.
The look had to stay the brand's own: a cream, ink and champagne palette, serif headings, and real product photography only. And the store had to stay simple to run for a small team.
What we built
The shop pages stay static and fast. Only the parts that have to be live, like payment and stock, run on the server.
A storefront that loads fast
Plain pages served from a global network, with a few small server functions only where the store needs them: checkout, order confirmation and sign-ups. No heavy framework for shoppers to download on a phone.
Checkout without leaving the site
Card payment runs inside the shop page through a major payment processor's hosted checkout, so card details never touch the store's own servers.
A real shopping cart
Shoppers can add more than one size and quantity, then pay once. The server re-checks every line, the price and the stock for each size before the payment is created.
Stock by size
Inventory is tracked per size and goes down automatically when an order is paid, so a size that has sold out can't be bought again.
Order emails
A branded order confirmation for the customer, a new-order alert for the team, and an "on its way" email with tracking when the order ships.
Coming-soon drop alerts
Colors that aren't out yet show a "notify me" box instead of a buy button. Shoppers can sign up for one color or for every new drop.
Behind the counter
A password-protected admin gives the team one place to run the store day to day:
- Orders with the customer, items, total, status and ship-to address in one list.
- Mark an order shipped with its tracking number, which sends the shipping email.
- Branded packing slips, one per order or combined when separate orders ship in one box.
- Inventory by size.
- Finances: revenue, the real payment fee on every order, expenses, and profit.
Easy for search engines and AI assistants to read
The store describes itself in plain, structured terms: product data on the shop page, a public product feed with live stock by size, a sitemap with every product photo, and a short summary written for AI assistants. Two pages answer what people actually ask: one on how a silk-lined hood protects your hair and one on giving the hoodie as a gift.
The domain had belonged to an old store before, so links to its leftover pages now redirect to the matching Alora page instead of a dead end.
